Why Choose Modern Shots Photography?

Our team is committed to professionalism, discretion, and creating an experience that feels as beautiful as the images themselves. We focus on comfort, confidence, and care — ensuring your special moments are captured with intention and artistry. Choosing Modern Shots means choosing an experience you’ll never regret.

Where Will the Photoshoot Take Place?

Photo sessions are generally held inside the private residence studio of Modern Shots Photography, offering an intimate, comfortable, and discreet environment designed specifically for boudoir and portrait sessions. Depending on arrangement outdoor or alternate locations can be coordinated.

Where Will the Photographs Be Used?

Your privacy is extremely important to us. No images will ever be shared, posted, or used for promotional purposes without your explicit written consent and a signed agreement.

Will I Receive Guidance During the Photoshoot?

Absolutely. You will be fully guided throughout your session with flattering poses, natural movements, and gentle direction to create a beautiful, unique, and confidence-boosting experience.

How Should I Prepare for My Boudoir Session?

Avoid the marks: On the day of your session, please avoid wearing tight-fitting clothing or bras, as they can leave temporary marks on the skin. Arrive in loose-fitting attire to ensure smooth, natural-looking images.

Consider treating yourself beforehand — whether that’s a new outfit, a fresh manicure or pedicure, or professional hair and makeup — to help you feel your absolute best.

What to Wear for Your Boudoir Session

Choosing the right outfits can help you feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable during your boudoir session. The most important thing is to bring pieces that make you feel amazing and reflect your personal style.

Choose Flattering Lingerie

Lingerie that enhances your natural shape photographs beautifully. Consider bringing:

  • A flattering bralette or push-up bra

  • Thong or cheeky-cut panties to create a flattering silhouette

  • High-waisted bottoms if you’d like a little extra tummy coverage while highlighting your waist

  • A matching bra and panty set for a polished look

Stick to Solid Colors

Avoid busy patterns or loud prints, as they can distract in photos. Solid colors help keep the focus on you!

Rich jewel tones such as emerald green, sapphire blue, deep red, and plum photograph beautifully and complement many skin tones.

Choose Beautiful Textures

Texture adds interest to photos without being distracting. Some great options include:

  • Lace

  • Satin or silk

  • Velvet

  • Sheer fabrics

These materials add depth and elegance to your images.

Bring a Variety of Looks

If possible, bring 4–6 outfit options so we can create different styles during your session. For example:

  • 1–2 bra or bralette and panty sets

  • 1–2 teddies or bodysuits

  • 1-2 Cozy or Oversized sweater/shirt

  • A robe or wrap

This variety creates a full, beautiful gallery.

Don’t Forget Accessories

Small details can elevate your look:

  • Heels or boots

  • Delicate jewelry

  • Stockings or thigh-highs

  • Robes or wraps

Keep accessories simple so they enhance rather than distract.

Boudoir Outfit Ideas (Budget Friendly Options)

You don’t need to spend a fortune to look amazing in your boudoir photos. Many clients find beautiful, flattering lingerie on Amazon for $10–$30 that photographs wonderfully.
